The summer transfer window for European clubs is in full swing, with Kylian Mbappé's move to Real Madrid being the biggest deal done so far.

The 2024 transfer window is expected to be a busy one, especially after the Euros and Copa America, where some players are anticipated to audition for moves to other clubs.

The names of some Ghanaian players have featured prominently as likely candidates to switch clubs during the window. The most significant move for a Ghanaian player so far is Fatawu Issahaku's transfer to Leicester City from Sporting Lisbon.

Black Stars full-back Denis Odoi has also changed clubs, moving from Club Brugge to Royal Antwerp in Belgium.

GhanaWeb brings you five Ghanaian footballers who are likely to make big-money moves in this transfer window.

Thomas Partey

With a year left on his contract and no indication yet from Arsenal to offer him a new deal, Thomas Partey's future is uncertain.

The midfielder has been strongly linked with clubs in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Italy, with the latest rumors suggesting that Saudi Arabia's Public Investment Fund is in talks with him over a potential move.

A move for Thomas Partey, who reportedly earns £250,000, to Saudi Arabia would see him become one of the highest earners on the continent.

Mohammed Kudus

Like Partey, Kudus has also been strongly linked with a move to Saudi Arabia.

Credible reports in England and Ghana indicate that the West Ham star is the subject of a £150 million bid from Kudus. The report adds that Kudus could earn $300,000 per week.

The reports further suggest that West Ham is likely to reject the bid from Al Ittihad and keep their star man.

Baba Rahman

Following his excellent performance in the Greek league, Baba Rahman has been linked with a return to the Ghana Premier League.

Sections of the Ghanaian media report that clubs like Brighton and Brentford are carefully monitoring Baba Rahman and would like to sign him.

Daniel Amartey

Daniel Amartey moved to Turkey a year ago to join Besiktas from Leicester City, but he has been linked with a move away from Besiktas.

The Ghanaian centre-back has found minutes hard to come by in the Turkish league, costing him a place in the Black Stars.

Media reports suggest that Scottish side Celtic is seriously considering adding Amartey to their squad.

Danlad Ibrahim

The Black Stars goalie is one of over twenty players who exited Kumasi Asante Kotoko following the 2023/2024 Ghana football season.

Danlad Ibrahim lost his place as Kotoko's top shot-stopper after the 2023 AFCON and has been out of the Black Stars since.

The goalkeeper has instructed his team to negotiate with any team that expresses interest in him, and Hearts of Oak are believed to be interested in him.
