Football fans display support for Black Stars

Takoradi, June 12, GNA - Hundreds of football fans in the Shama Ahanta East Metropolis are gearing themselves up to celebrate victory for the national team, the Black Stars.

Many sports fans are seen dressed in Black Stars=92 replica jerseys and hats, souvenirs, and other sporting paraphernalia and drabbed in the national flag.

Additionally, some public and private institutions have provided television sets at their offices to enable their personnel to stay at post and watch some of the matches that would be played.

Taxi, 91trotro=92 (commuter bus) drivers and private car owners have all displayed black stars support items in their vehicles, while others played songs composed in support of the team.

Miniature statues adorned with the Ghana flag and replica jerseys have also been displayed in front of some shops the Ghana News Agency (GNA) visited.
