Former Ashgold centre back Kadri Mohammed marks European debut for Austria Vien

Former Ashgold SC centre back, Kadri Mohammed, made his 2017/18 season debut for Austria Vien in a 1-2 away win at Osijek. The Black Stars utility defender marked his season debut in the European tie to all but seal group stage qualifications for his Austrian paymasters.

The Ghana international, who had been restricted to bench warming role in the Bundesliga, zoomed his way into the starting XI of the European clash to mark his season audition.

The Austria Vien defender showed his gulf in class with a blistering display to secure a vital 1-2 first leg advantage away to their Croatian opponents, Osijek.

Kadri Mohammed and his team mates will be joining the mainstream Europa league group stage fixtures if they avoid complacency in the return leg on home soil.
