Former FIFA referee Mercy Tagoe to sue goal.com reporter

Former FIFA Referee Mercy Tagoe has threatened to sue goal.com reporter Evans Gyamera-Antwi for allegations of bribery levelled at her.

The retired referee and now coach insists there is no truth in the allegations pointed at her.

Tagoe, speaking to a local radio station expressed her dissatisfaction at the issues and steered her intentions of sending the matter to court.

"Sometimes, I don't understand what informs their allegations. I want him to apologize. This is bad," she told Asempa fm.

"I am someone's mother, I'm also a wife and someone's daughter. You think my husband hears this he will be happy? Or even if my children go to school and people harass them because I'm their mother. Do you think it's good," a furious Mercy Tagoe added.
