Former AshantiGold striker, Hans Kwofie, reportedly died in a ghastly accident at Dadwen in Tarkwa.

The unfortunate accident occurred on Friday, June 21, 2024. Kwofie at the age of 35.

Hans Kwofie was heading towards his hometown of Dompim Pepesa when his car got involved in an accident which claimed his life instantly at Dadwen in the Western Region.

Hans Kwofie was a striker and was the Ghana Premier League top scorer in the 2017 season.

The late player made three appearances for Ghana's U-20 side, the Black Satellites.

Some of the Ghana Premier League clubs he played for include Medeama, Ashgold, Legon Cities, Bechem United, Heart of Lions, and Aduana Stars.

Hans Kwofie was a player for Birgunj United FC in Nepal until his death.
