Former Hearts coach slams supporters; calls them 'stands coaches'

Former Hearts of Oak Video Analyst Elton Nunes has descended heavily on the supporters of the club, tagging them "Stands Coaches" and blaming them for the club’s inability to make progress.

Nunes, who worked with Sergio Traguil, the worse foreign coaches in the history of Hearts, appears to have been unable to detach his love and passion for the Phobians since leaving post.

His passion and love for the Rainbow Boys have seen him follow the activities of the club in an indignant style following the recent happenings in the club.

Nunes who blasted the shadow management of the club and the board for the managerial incompetence a week ago has descended heavily on the fans who sing the praises of the management for their selfish interests.

Responding to the fans on facebook for swiping him as a bad coach, Nunes reiterated his official portfolio during his time with the club and that he was not the coach.

“I was a scout and video analyst. Check your sources before talking. That’s the problem of football today. "Stands coaches" speak about what they don’t know,” Nunes angrily ranted.

The passionate former VA hailed the board chairman of the club, Togbe Afede XIV as a great man but surrounded by ignorant people who are running the club.

“Hearts have a top president at the club but lots of people in the club don’t understand football. Very good and kind people but the knowledge of football is low.

“In order to succeed, you must have people in all departments that know football 110%.

“Hearts is a magical club, nostalgic and with lot of history. It’s sad to see the situation club is facing now.

Nunes revealed that despite the talent at Hearts, some management members always want to be recognized than the coach and even try to select players for the coach.

“I found in Hearts talents to win the league for consecutive years. But still have people that want to boss more than the head coach and still have the situation where they want to choose players go to the pitch instead of the ones that are doing well on the training. Hearts will not leave this scenario.

The young scout and video analyst wants to return to Ghana one day and win a league title with Hearts.

“I will return to Ghana. To scout more players and help all the ones I can. And if God helps me, I’ll get to coach there and fight for the title. I felt myself home,” he concluded.

Hearts of Oak have been troubled since losing the FA title Asante Kotoko in October, struggling to keep some of their top players as well as attracting some big signings the club used to attract.
