Kingsley Kofi Kissi has been talking up his stay and life in Angola ever since he left the shores of Ghana.

The 24-year-old goalkeeper left Accra Hearts of Oak last two seasons to Angola where he played half season for Santa Rita Cassia football club.

Kissi’s early exploits caught the attention of several local clubs in Angola but Club DESPORTIVO Da Huila of Lubango were the most fortunate to secure the services of the former Tudu Mighty Jets man.

Since signing for the club,Kissi has kept 19 clean sheets in 26 appearances for the Angolan outfit, conceeding 10 goals all season.

When quizzed about life in Angola,Kissi said “I feel at home here.Initially it wasn’t easy for me.It was a new environment, different culture, food and people. But thank God I have been able to adopt well.”

The 6.1ft goalkeeper was also full of praise for his former club, Santa Rita Cassia FC and former Hearts of Oak coach Sergio Traguil. He believes they played an important role in making him settle well in Angola after early months of struggles in the oil rich country.

“My former team mates and coach Sergio Traguil who was also here in Angola helped me settle well at the club. They took me through a lot of stuffs and I think it was very helpful.” He told GhanaCrusader.com

Kingsley Kissi played for Tudu Mighty Jets,Accra Hearts of Oak and Inter Allies (on loan) in the Ghana premier league before his departure.

The Angolan league ended several weeks ago with Club DESPORTIVO Da Huila of Lubango finishing 6th on the league table.
