Former Hearts of Oak midfielder, Winful Cobbinah says he wouldn’t mind joining rivals Asante Kotoko in the future.
Having moved from the Phobians to Albanian club KF Tirana in 2018, the 28-year-old conceded that he would certainly welcome the possibility of featuring for the Porcupine warriors should there be an opportunity of such in the future.
“I cannot say that when I return home I won’t play for Asante Kotoko.”
“You have to be professional and weigh your options because in football you do not know where you would play so why not?” He told Don Summer [YouTube].
“Yes, I received calls from some officials of Kotoko and even some of their players told me about the club’s interest in me during the WAFU tournament in 2017 but I didn’t give my attention to them because it’s risky crossing from Hearts of Oak and vice-versa.” He added.
Cobbinah was part of the Black Stars B team that won WAFU 2017 held in Ghana.
