Former Hearts of Oak striker Obeng Jr on a verge of Hearts of Lions move - Reports

Former Hearts of Oak striker Kwadwo Obeng Junior is reportedly close to completing a move to Ghana Premier League side Hearts of Lions as a free agent.

The striker is said to have signed a two-year deal with the Kpando side, reports by Joy Sports suggest.

If confirmed, Obeng Junior could make his debut for the Lions when they meet Hearts of Oak in the Gbese Mantse Peace Cup.

The game is scheduled for Sunday, August 11, 2024, at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kwadwo Obeng Junior spent six years at the club, winning six honours including the Ghana Premier League, Super Cup, two FA Cups, and two President's Cups.

He joined Hearts of Oak in 2018 on an initial loan deal before his contract was made permanent.
