Ghanaian goalkeeper Danlad Ibrahim has landed in Addis Ababa to complete his transfer to Ethiopian Coffee FC.

The former Asante Kotoko goalkeeper is set to undergo a mandatory medical examination on Monday before signing a two-year contract.

Ibrahim left the Porcupine Warriors at the end of last season and was initially rumored to be joining rivals Hearts of Oak.

However, the goalkeeper, who was part of Ghana's squad at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, chose to continue his career abroad by joining the Ethiopian club.

He is expected to play a significant role for Ethiopian Coffee FC in the upcoming season as they aim for the league title.

Ibrahim brings extensive experience, having represented various Ghana national teams in different competitions, including the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in 2021, where the Black Satellites emerged as champions.

In the Ghana Premier League, the 21-year-old made 69 appearances for the Kumasi-based club.
