Four Ghanaian Players Nominated for Africa's Best

The members of the Technical & Media committees of CAF will be sending their votes of the best African footballer of 2001 before the end of November. After reception of the votes, the first three best nominees will be announced in December and the winner of the 2001 African best footballer award will be announced on the occasion of the African Soccer Awards ceremony which will be organised in South Africa in March/April 2002.
The nominees of this year's best African footballer award are:
