Four-Match Ban For Six Players.

The Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association has handed out a four-match ban to six players found guilty by the committee and therefore will not feature for their respective clubs in today’s matches.

Yaw Kyeremeh of Bofoakwa Tano’s four-match suspension took effect from their first week game against Obusai Goldfields during which he was expelled. He is also been fined 100,000 cedis.


Two players of Dawu Youngsters, Ahmend Issah and Richard Nartey as well as Obuasi Goldfields’ skipper Yaw Owusu who were all expelled from their respective second week matches have the same punishment of a four-match ban plus a fine of 100,000 cedis.

Also to serve the four-match suspension and pay up fines of 100,000 cedis each are Pasco Amponsah of Bofoakwa Tano when he was expelled in their match with Asante Kotoko and Kwashi Leveh who was sent off in last their clash with Olympics.


The punishment takes effect from the matches from which the players were expelled.
