Four to represent Ghana at ECOWAS Tennis Tourney

Accra, Sept 4, GNA - Four national junior tennis players have been selected to represent the nation at the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) International Junior Tournament scheduled for Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire from Monday, September 8 to Sunday, September 14. The quartet, Japheth Bargerbaseh, 15; Gabriel Atteh, 13; Stacy Bulley, 14 and Elizabeth Bargerbaseh, 11 would leave Accra on Sunday, September 7 for the tourney.

Accra, Sept 4, GNA - Four national junior tennis players have been selected to represent the nation at the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) International Junior Tournament scheduled for Abidjan, Cote d'Ivoire from Monday, September 8 to Sunday, September 14. The quartet, Japheth Bargerbaseh, 15; Gabriel Atteh, 13; Stacy Bulley, 14 and Elizabeth Bargerbaseh, 11 would leave Accra on Sunday, September 7 for the tourney. A statement signed by Ignatius Elletey, Secretary General of the Ghana Tennis Association, (GTA) copied to GNA Sports said the seven-day tourney forms parts of plans and efforts of the tennis Federations aimed at promoting the sport among its member Associations. Meanwhile the GTA Chairman, Jeffery Abeasi who has been invited as a special guest to grace the occasion would leave for the event on Wednesday, September 10.
