Former Black Stars player Emmanuel Frimpong has rubbished reports circulating around in the world media that he is gay.
The FK Ufa player was caught on camera this weekend touching the balls of Croatian team mate Ivan Paurevic in celebration of their 1-0 win against giants Locomotive Moscow in the Russian top flight league.
The 23-year-old who is rumored to be dating Emilia Morales wrote on his twitter page that “I think it’s a funny image. No need to worry about it. I’m not gay, everybody should calm down we constantly touch each other in practice. It was just an act.” Frimpong posted on his twitter page.
The former Arsenal player has endured a difficult spell in England and wants to reclaim his lost form in the top Russian Premier League.
