Accra , Dec 19, GNA - Kweku Frimpong became the second housemate to be evicted from the MTN Football Academy House last Saturday.

The 17 year old Frimpong, even though was shocked by the eviction, took the decision in good stride despite the shock, and accepted applause from the fans as he walked to the dressing room through the tunnel and was joined by Kenneth Ackah, who suffered an ankle injury during one of their training sessions after doctors had ruled him out for four weeks.

Prior to the eviction, there was a fierce contest between Team MTN and Team OMP in a five-aside game which ended one all.

At the end of the match coaches David Duncan and Augustine Arhinful handed the Most Valuable Player prize to lanky Godwin Gakpo after a spirited performance.

Coach Ducan who expressed satisfaction with the performance of the team, said their output was an improvement on the previous outings.

"The scoreline shows my team is improving, they always beat us and drawing tonight shows it is getting better." Coach Duncan stated.

It was, however, hip-life artist Kwaw Kesse who stole the evening by endearing himself to the jubilant crowd that had travelled from far and near to lend their support to the respective team mates.

Preceding the dreaded eviction was the “Can Do Spirit” competition which saw the team mates embarking on a military adventure at the Achiase Military Jungle Warfare School in the Eastern Region as they were subjected to intense military training and discipline.

Gabriel Darko, team mate number 14 emerged as captain for the week, taking over from team mate number 10 Dennis Ofori.

The soccer reality show is put together by MTN and supported by Optimum Media Prime (OMP), Nestle Ghana Limited (Milo) and Auto Plaza, sole distributors of Hyundai vehicles in Ghana.
