Froch and Adamu weigh-in

Nottingham super-middleweight prospect Carl Froch tipped the scales at 11st 13lbs 13oz ahead of his Commonwealth title challenge against champion Charles Adamu at the Nottingham International Ice Arena tomorrow night (March 12).

Ghanaian Adamu, who out-pointed Southampton's Matthew Barney to win the vacant title in 2003, weighed in comfortably under the 12st limit, at 11st 10lbs 2oz.

The pick of the undercard sees former two-time WBO heavyweight champion Herbie Hide take on Lithuanian journeyman Mendauga Kulikauskas. Hide scaled bang on 16st while the 28 year-old southpaw weighed in at 16st 10lbs.
