Ukrainian side Dnipro have rejected an offer from Fulham to sign their Ghanaian midfielder Derek Boateng this month," MTNFootball.com can exclusively reveal.

Another offer by the English side to sign Boateng at the end of the season has also been turned down by the ambitious Ukrainian club.

At the start of the month when the transfer window opened, Fulham offered to sign the player on loan.

They also offered to fight for a permanent deal for the Ghanaian player as the end of the loan period but both offers have been rejected.

"When the transfer window opened Fulham approached Dnipro to sign me on loan but by club flatly turned down the offer," Boateng told MTNFootball.com.

"Fulham then offered to sign me in the summer but that was also rejected. So I won't be moving to Fulham."

The deal was mooted by coach Martin Jol who has been keen on grabbing Boateng since the two sides met in the Europa League few months ago.

Boateng only joined the Ukrainian side last summer when he arrived from Spanish side Getafe.

West Brom had made a bid for him then, but Boateng instead opted to sign a four-year deal with Dnipro.

But now just a few months into his deal with the Ukrainian club, Fulham approached Dnipro sign the Ghanaian.
