AshantiGold have decided to open the gates for free to women when they play Equatorial Guinea side Akonangui FC on Saturday in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup.
After drawing 1-1 in the first leg, Ashantigold will be looking to overcome their Guinean counterpart on Saturday to qualify to the next stage of the competition.
The move is expected to boost crowd at the Obuasi Lenclay Stadium as the club seek to eliminate Akonangui FC and make it to the stage of the competition.
Fans of the club will on Friday embark on a float throughout the principal streets of Obuasi to create awareness ahead of the game Saturday.
