Ghana FA’s Congress have rejected a proposal to have only persons over 30-years eligible to contest the association’s Presidency.
The motion proposed by Congress member Oloboy Commodore was voted against at the general assembly on Thursday.
The proposal was against what pertains in the Ghana FA statues which says a person above 18 years is eligible to contest the presidency.
The motion was then put to open votes of which 36 voted against the fresh proposal with 33 in support.
This means the current provision in the GFA statues of 18 years and above is upheld.
