GFA Elections: George Afriyie launches Restoration of Ghana football manifesto

Ghana Football Association presidential aspirant, George Afriyie, has launched his manifesto ahead of the upcoming elections to be held later this month.

The manifesto launch dubbed redemption, revival and restoration of the Ghana Football Association held at Eusbett hotel in Sunyani was graced by several dignitaries such as club administrators, Chiefs, old footballers, media and Kurt Okraku who is also contesting for the seat.

A football match was held in the morning between George Afriyie campaign team and retired Black Stars players at the Sunyani Polythenic park as the curtain raiser for the main event.

The Former Ghana FA vice president, George Afriyie unveiled his policies and aspirations for the country’s football governing body under his tenure.

George highlighted some of the things in his manifesto such as transperancy, fixing floodlight at the Ghanaman Soccer of Excellence, establishing Swiming pool at the same place.

Introduction of IT to Congress, setting up a board to manage colts football, effective and strong match review panel and a host of others.

The Okyeman Planners bankroller is considered amongst the favorite to win the GFA Presidential election slated for October 25.
