GFA Executive Committee Members who own clubs behind corruption

*There is only one factor that is destroying our Division One and Premier leagues but it seems we have not checked it as football loving country. The GFA Executive Committee Members who owns clubs are the cause of the downfall of our football league system. *

Corruption and bribery have taken centre stage in the Division One League right up to the elite division because they are the most influential people who can use their position to win the referees to their sides to help their clubs to progress.

Look at the best football league countries like England, Germany and ltaly, who can tell me their FA executives have a club? I don’t sometimes blame the referees because how can a class one referee unbiasedly handle a match involving the clubs of these people against other clubs?

I am speaking out of experience as a pressman who followed B/A United to Hwidiem this past Sunday March 13 for the 2nd round of Division One League game involving GFA Executive Committee Member George Afriyie's club Unity FC against the apostles of power soccer,which BA lost 3-0.

How these referees Frederick Bediako, lbrahim Fosu and J.B. Fogah from Accra because of the presence of George Afriyie intentionally robbed B/A United, it was very pathetic.

The Hwidiem venue of the game, if it was inspected and approved by the Division One League Board, I will say they were in blind mood. How can you approve a school and sloppy park for Division One League matches? I must say the position of George Afriyie at GFA did the trick so the Division One League Board had no option than to consider that horror pitch for him. If the GFA wants our Division One and Premier leagues to be attractive in order to attract supporters back to the stadium like the English league ,the only solution I am suggesting, is to compel any GFA Executive Committee member who wishes to own a club to resign from his position. When that happens, fair officiating would be existent at its best.
