GFA Gives Milan 10-day Ultimatum

The Ghana Football Association still reeling under the pressure of the exit of former coach, Milan Zivadinovic has given the AWOL coach a 10day ultimatum to return to post or face the wrath of world soccer controlling body, FIFA. Herald sources at the FA

Claimed that letter instructing the Yugoslav coach return back to his employers was sent last Wednesday has still not be replied by Milan. The former Obilic coach now has up to Saturday to respond to the Ghana Football Association’s 10day ultimatum.

According to the FA source, should the Yugoslav fail to reply then FIFA would intervene, as its Arbitration Committee would begin hearings into the his sudden walk out of his two year contract. FIFA has already been served with a copy of the Milan’s conduct.

Also the Yugoslav Football Association is been served notice since he is a national of that country. A total of 520million cedis has been spent on Milan Zivadinovic during his association with Ghana. The amount includes his three months salary and enticement fee. Herald investigations revealed that the Ghanaian FA is bent of recouping some of the amount spent, as their only hope now is world soccer controlling body, FIFA.

The 58year-old Yugoslav coach who’s walked out two previous engagements with the Iraqi National Football team and that of his won country, Yugoslav this time claimed his resignation was due to climatic conditions prevalent in Ghana. Meanwhile, reports reaching the Herald from Yugoslavia indicate that his former, FC Obilic are still interested his hiring the former Ghana coach again.
