The Normalization Committee of the Ghana Football Association sends a message of goodwill to Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Ghana's representatives in the 2018/2019 CAF Confederations Cup.
The Porcupine Warriors meet Kenya's Kariobangi Sharks in the 2nd leg of the 2nd Round fixture of the CAF Confederations Cup at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi, tomorrow Saturday, December 22, 2018.
After registering an impressive 0:0 score away in Kenya in the first leg, the Porcupine Warriors are well on course to progress to the next stage of the competition and the Normalization Committee urges the team to eschew complacency, remain focused and go all out and eliminate Kariobangi Sharks.
We also urge fans of Kumasi Asante Kotoko and football-loving Ghanaians to troop to the Baba Yara Stadium in their numbers to offer Asante Kotoko the needed support.
As we seek to bring back local football, the people's passion to them early next year, a win by Kotoko, which will take them to the next stage of the CAF Confederations Cup, will reinvigorate interest in the game ahead of the Special Normalization Committee competition, which starts in January 2019.
Good luck to the Porcupine Warriors.
