It was a frantic day full of emotions with tension soaring as the marathon GFA presidential elections seemed to have no end in sight with round after round of exhausting election processes, voting, counting and announcement amidst all the emotional trauma the likes of Amanda Clinton, the two George's especially the former veep who even had 78-80 votes before a vote had been cast.

The emphatic knock out blow handed in his own words the most experienced man in the GFA race Mr. Fred Pappoe.

For Amanda Clinton and George Ankomah the pain will be quiet soothing as their knew from day one that they are also runs just adding to the numbers and being accorded courtesies that comes with being a presidential aspirant.

Perhaps the decision by the two 'outsiders' who interestingly are all legal practitioners to contest stem from the fact that they wanted to put themselves in the shop window to any winner that they are available.

After all this persons contesting elections will avoid the George Afriyie mistake of grandeur delusion talking tough in public spaces, belittling other contestants and describing them as 'immature', telling people its the cheapest election yet in your entire life?

I believe after Friday's shock of his life he will whittle down when contesting for any position the next time and burst that bloated ego filled sense of entitlement ie the 'meba ha aky3' syndrome in Ghana to wits I have been here for long time.

At a point he sounded like a prominent dictator even before winning power ; "Palmer will get 15 votes If he is even cleared to contest" as If he was the returning officer.

George Afriyie's verbal diarrhorrea made him sound arrogant at some point as If he was the god's of football who controlled the breath of all the delegates.

The absolute certainty of his followers, campaign team members was no different either as they behaved as if their candidate had won so the elections was a waste of everybody's time.

Some of us knew it will end in tears as the typical Ghanaian delegate/voter wants a 'humble' person who will lie on the floor for him/her when seeking power.

Why do you think our politicians stir banku, ride bicycles, take trotro's and all manner of things during election campaigns?

Nana Yaw Amponsah did his burgeoning reputation no harm at all especially after that outstanding performance that Monday night at the premises of College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Even though he fell out of the race at some point but his image just soared through the roof after that Monday debate.

His brilliant ideas and vision for Ghana Football will take him places and won't be surprised If he one day annexes the coveted GFA presidential job.

For George Afriyie after such battering what next ? build up a new image of meekness and come back next four years?

With Amanda Clinton and George Ankomah perhaps it will be advisable if they stay more in the game harness their skills in this cut throat football business and make telling contributions before coming back to battle.

For Kurt Okraku, to whom much is given much is expected of him, its now time to unite all frontiers, avoid the mistakes of the old regime, never black list anyone who criticizes you for you are no God but human.

Build a positive image about your regime and avoid building a cabal, surround yourself with good counsel, do not think football is only for football people so when you are not part of the association do not there talk about us or ask for accountability.

You have done remarkably well with Dreams Fc and also did a yeoman's job whiles chairman of the MTN FA cup, the journey to the top didn't start today, but now you are at the top leave a lasting legacy for our beautiful game like that beautiful kiss from your better half.

At the end of a blistering, energy sapping day it all ended with a beautiful kiss for Kurt E.S Okraku GFA's 24th president.
