THE Ghana Football Association (GFA), as part of a move to strengthen football in the various regions, has begun building the human capacities in its regional offices. Part of the programme is the presentation of computers for efficient storage of information.
last week, the GFA presented a computer and accessories valued at ?22 million to the Brong Ahafo Regional football Association at a ceremony at Sunyani.
Making the presentation, Mr Kofi Nsiah General Secretary of the GFA, said that the association purchased 12 computers, 11 fax machines and their accessories valued at ?250 million for distribution to all the 10 regional football association nationwide while the Referees Association of Ghana was presented with one fax machine to enhance their work.
Mr Yaw Adjei-Duffour, the Deputy Brong Ahafo Regional Minister received the items. Present at the function were Messrs Anane Frempong and Kwasi Owusu assistant Coach respectively and Mr Kwaku Munufie Secretary of B/A Regional Football Association.
