The Parliamentary select Committee on Youth, Sports and Culture has entreated the new Ghana Football Association to set revamp our technical team with a specific department that will deal only with penalty kicks for our various teams.

Ghana has recently suffered two heart wrenching penalty shoot out defeats all in one tournament at the just ended Afcon U-23 tournament.

Speaking in an interview with Kumasi Fm, the chairman of the Parliamentary select Committee on Youth, Sports and Culture Hon. Alexander Agyekum outlined exactly what they told the GFA's Exco on their visit Wednesday.

"On our penalty woes as a country,we emphasized on the need to do the right things in ending this tragedy,we cannot continue to suffer for that hence the need to appoint a technical team to be in charge of that aspect of the game. This penalty issue must be a thing of the past."

He also touched on what exactly is required for Ghanaians to regain that affection and goodwill they once had towards the Black Stars.

"Bringing back the love for the national teams will require a bit of commitment from the players, there should be a nationalistic feeling from the players, they must die a bit for the nation." he said.
