Ex-Youth and Sports Minister, Nii Lante Vanderpuje, claims members of the Ghana Football Association popped champagne when the National Democratic Congress (NDC) lost the 2016 General Elections.
In the 2016 general elections in Ghana, NDC lost power to their biggest opponent, the New Patriotic Party(NPP).
Vanderpuije who was the Sports Minister before NDC lost power said and had a frosty relationship with the FA said the Ghana FA were in the state of happiness after the NDC lost the election.
“We would have seen the length of the frog by now, NDC lost the election and the GFA were popping champagne. If the NDC had won the election Ghana would have been sweet,” Vanderpuje said on Football Legend on GH One.
Vanderpuje was the number one critic of the FA after he took charge of the Sports Ministry.
