The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has summoned Black Stars head coach Otto Addo to appear before the Executive Council (ExCo).
According to a statement released by the GFA, Otto Addo is scheduled to meet the ExCo on November 27, 2024.
The FA indicated that the meeting will centre on the manager’s technical report on the 2025 AFCON qualifiers, as well as the performance of the technical team since their appointment in March 2024.
"The Executive Council will meet the Head Coach of the Black Stars, Mr. Otto Addo, on the 27th of November, 2024, to discuss his technical report on the just-ended AFCON qualifiers and the overall performance of the technical team since assuming duty earlier this year," part of the GFA’s statement read.
The decision to summon Otto Addo was one of two major outcomes of an emergency meeting held by the GFA on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
The other significant decision was the dissolution of the Black Stars management committee.
These swift actions by the GFA come in response to the Black Stars' poor performance during the 2025 AFCON qualifying campaign.
Ghana finished bottom of their group, failing to secure a single win. Out of six games, they recorded three losses and three draws.
