Communications director of the Ghana Football Association Ibrahim Sannie Daara says his outfit ought to learn lessons from the Spaniard’s impasse with his employers.

The Spanish coach staged a sit-in protest at the Alisa hotel in the capital Accra in a row over his salary.

According to him, going forward the FA would be careful with the kind of people they employ to work for the Black Stars team.

The Spanish trainer before his exit on Sunday night had been in Ghana for seven weeks since the senior national team returned from a disappointing fourth place finish at the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) held in Gabon after the FA failed to pay him.

The FA claims Nus was rather appointed as a match analyst contrary to the purported news in the media that he was first deputy coach to Avram Grant at the AFCON 2017.

Speaking on Kumasi based Abusua FM, Monday the FA spokesperson said ‘’ Yes there a big lesson we need to learn from what happened between him and the Ghana Football Association’’.

He continued ‘’We need to be carefulwith the kind of persons our coaches recommend to assist them do their jobs, their behaviours they will put when employed should be examined very well to ensure in future we don’t encounter such unprofessional impasse between the two parties [the FA and the coaches]’’

‘’Do you think any African country will employ Gerald Nus to work with considering his unprofessional conduct with the people who employed him’’ asked Sannie Daara.

He explains Nus will not only hinder his chances of getting jobs on the African continent but would go beyond Africa.

‘’Not even in Africa but in the western world I doubt as to whether Gerald Nus would be employed by any team and then later put up such unacceptable behaviour to the same people who gave him a job’’

‘’If you go to other part of the world some coaches and players are even owed 7 months but you hardly hear them behaving like Nus and I think in the future if our coach tells us he needs somebody to assist him on monthly basis we will tell him to hold on for us to do our background checks before maybe approving his recommendations.

‘’It would be prudent for us to make whoever is named our next coach to understand that things may not go on smoothly as expected in future once he aggress then we are at ago so that in future if things go astray he wouldn’t conduct himself like Gerald Nus. He was brought in by Avram as a video Analyst but see how he’s saying we brought him to deputize our head coach.”
