Sportscrusader.com has gathered that the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has decided to pre-finance Premier League clubs with sponsorship money from its TV deal with Super Sport.
The Ghana FA were close to securing a headline sponsor for the domestic top flight competition, but it seems the deal is far from agreed.
Our investigations has revealed that the head of the country’s football governing body has agreed for the GFA to pre-finance clubs with sponsorship money from media headline sponsors, Super Sport to leverage the financial burden on the Clubs.
Sportscrusader.com sources say the decision had been thoroughly thought off by the GFA before the season began, but they had hopes of securing a sponsor before the start of the season.
This new development could serve as good news to clubs who are financially handicapped in administering their programmes for the rest of the season.
