The Ghana FA wants to have its technical adviser installed and present for the Black Stars’ opening 2015 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Uganda.

The GFA has set up a three-man search team to make recommendations towards appointing a competent hand to augment the efforts of coach Kwesi Appiah.

The GFA, according to reports, have to choose between Serbian trainer Milovan Rajevac and Dane Flemming Serritslev who emerged the cuts after a final shortlist.

And even though the committee tasked to make recommendations towards the appointment is yet to complete its work, the Ghana FA says it wants its new man in place before the Black Stars take to the field against Uganda on September 6.

“As I speak now the committee tasked to bring forth a name is yet to deliver on that front,” Ghana FA spokesman Ibrahim Sannie Daara said at a press briefing on Friday.

“But our expectation is to have this appointee in the stands to see our game against Uganda. We want to hit the ground running.

“The committee is however yet to complete its work but the GFA wants to have him by the time we play against Uganda.”
