The Ghana Football Association has promised to abide by the agreement the Confederation of Africa Football to vote for Sheikh Salman Bin Al-Khalifa.
The president of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi and his vice, George Afriyie will fly to Zurich for FIFA elections scheduled for February 26 on Wednesday.
Ghana, a member of the fifty-four nations will join sister countries in Zurich on Friday to choose a leader to replace Joseph Sepp Blatter who has been banned from football for eight years.

The governing body of football in Africa issued a statement to confirm that the president of the Asian Football Confederation was its preferred candidate to succeed the suspended incumbent Sepp Blatter.
Acting Fifa president Issa Hayatou, who is head of Caf, hinted at a backing for Sheikh Salman following a cooperation agreement between the Afc and Caf last month.
He is quoted as saying by Sky Sports: “If we decide to support Salman, is it a crime? Who can prevent us from doing this?”
However, Musah Bility, president of the Liberia Football Federation, claim 26 countries in the continent will go contrary to CAF’s agreed candidate.
It is reported that South Sudan will go against the agreement after FIFA presidential hopeful, Gianni Infantino promised the association $5 million if he win the elections.
The Ghana Football Association, however, confirmed to sportscrusader.com that CAF is ‘like your mother, and you can’t disobey her.’
