GGA: Four companies Awarded for supporting Golf

The second edition of the Ghana Golf Awards held on Saturday, December 27, 2014 saw four companies sweeping off the corporate awards for their immense contribution to the development of Golf in the country.

The grand event of the second edition of the Ghana Golf Awards held at the Events Haven, Trade Fair site, La, Accra, saw Goldfields Ghana, Airtel Ghana Limited, Ostec Ghana and Ecobank Ghana Limited all going home with their supportive award.

In all, thirteen (13) golfers were honored in various categories, with an electrician, Kwabena Poku, adjudged 2014 Golfer of the year.

The event saw very distinguished people gracing the occasion; Okyehene Osagyefo Amoatia Ofori Panin II, Sir Sam Jonah, Joe Kpenge (National Sports Authority), Dr Felix Frimpong ( President of Ghana Golf Association), Okyeame Kwame among many others.

GBC Pacesetters Band with Amandzeba were also there to thrill the guest with spectacular performances.
