The Ghana Handball Association (GHA) will organize a two-day justify-your-inclusion exercise for Under-18 male players at the Multi-Purpose Court of the Accra Sports Stadium.

The exercise, fixed for 6-7 June, is to raise a formidable team for the Africa Youth Championship in Togo, from June 30 to July 6th.

According to the technical committee, the exercise would afford the technical handlers the opportunity to observe and select young handball team for Ghana, ahead of the tournament and the future.

In an interview with GNA Sports, Mr. George Bankole, National Technical Director of the GHA, said it would be a good platform to build a team for the future.

He said the tournament would unearth talents for the country and it was important clubs release their players for the exercise to help Ghana raise a quality team for the games.

“Due to the upcoming tournament, we have sent an invitation to some clubs inviting their players, and we hope they would be released on time.

“We have invited 26 players to assess them thoroughly and get a team from the two-day exercise and build a winsome side for this tournament and for the future,” he added.
