Coach of newly promoted Dreams FC Karim Zito expressed delight about recording a 1-0 victory over Kotoko at the Babayara Stadium yesterday but admits it was a very ‘weird’ feeling.
A Richard Addai goal at the end of the first half was all that was needed for the ‘still belive’ club to pull off one of the biggest upsets in the competition so far.
Speaking in his post match press conference, Karim Zito who is a former player of the Porcupine warriors admitted he has bittersweet feeling about the result.
“I am a legend at Kotoko, I won so many trophies with them including the Champions League during my time here as a player so whatever affects them affects me”
Coach Zito revealed he spoke with Kotoko’s technical team immediately after the game passing on some of the mistakes he noticed in their play.
Dreams Fc will face fellow Premier League newcomers Techiman Eleven Wonders while Kotoko battle Aduana in the last round of matches in Group A.
