Head Coach of Asante Kotoko Steve Polack has expressed his satisfaction over his team’s performance against Aduana Stars in the final Group game of the G8 tournament.
A wonderful long range strike by Eric Donkor and another from Kwame Banahene handed the Porcupine warriors a convincing 2-0 victory against the Premier League Champions on Sunday.
The result meant that the Fabulous club emerge winners of Group A and qualify to the semi-finals of the competition.
Speaking to reporters after the game, Polack saw a lot of positives from his side’s display and lauded the attitude of his players.
“Today, there were a lot of positives from the game but also there is other things we need to be working on. I am happy with the 2-0 result, the attitude of my players was good”
The gaffer praised his team for playing some good football but noted decision making in the final third is something they need to improve upon.
“I was happy with the performance especially defensively more-so than offensively”
