Aduana Coach Yusif Abubakar has slammed the officials for his side’s 2-0 loss to Kotoko in the final Group A match in the ongoing G8 tournament.
Two unanswered goals from Eric Donkor and Kwame Banahene ensured that Kotoko progressed to the semis of the competition as group winners and sent Aduana crashing out.
In his post match reflection, Coach Abubakar expressed his dissatisfaction with the performance of the referee who he feels had a shocker of a match.
“It was a very temperamental game filled with questionable officiating, that is how I will describe it. The officiating totally ruined match and if this is how the officiating is going to go the beauty of the tournament will be tarnished”
He however stressed on the need for his side to work hard to improve performance levels as they head into the beginning of the new season.
