GHALCA boss confirms new date for 2019 President Cup

Chairman of the Ghana League Club Association Kudjoe Fiano has confirmed the new date for the 2019 Presdential Cup.

The game which was initially scheduled to come off on the 1st of September has been rescheduled to the 8th of the same month after a plea from Hearts of Oak for the change of date citing lack of enough preparation.

According to the former Ashantigold Chairman, the two clubs have now agreed for the game to be played on the 8th September 2019, at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Speaking to Kumasi FM on Thursday, Kudjoe Fianoo revealed both clubs will receive half of the appearance before kick off.

“This year’s presidential cup is a battle between strike and umbro, who owns the best and beautiful kits in Ghana.

“Hearts and Kotoko has agreed to play and the date has been finalized on September 8th, 2019 at the kumasi Baba Yara Stadium.

“The club’s will take a 50% of an appearance fee before kick off” He added.
