GHPL Wrap: AshGold beat Hearts in Accra, Kotoko grab vital points in Cape Coast

Daniel Gozar’s 12th minute goal for Ashanti Gold ended Hearts of Oak’s unbeaten home run at the Accra Sports Stadium.

Kotoko grabbed their second successive win after beating Ebusua Dwarfs 1-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium, thanks to a first half strike from Baba Mahama.

Wahab Ackwei scored the only goal for Inter-Allies who managed a narrow 1-0 win over Bechem United at the El WAK Sports Stadium.

WAFA left it late to beat Elmina Sharks 1-0 in Sogakope courtesy an 86th minute header by defender Musah Nuhu as the Academy lads kept their position on top of the table.

Aduana Stars kept the chase on WAFA by recording a 1-0 victory over struggling Great Olympics at the Dormaa Park.

Paul Asare scored in the 64th minute for WA All Stars to cancel Tawfiq Yakubu Mohammed’s 36th minute goal for Tema Youth as the two teams shared honours at the Malik Jabir Park.

Liberty Professionals scored three past bottom placed Bolga All Stars at the Carl Reindolf Park in Dansoman. Yusif Mubarak, Benjamin Eshun and Richard Kissi Boateng were on target for the home side.

The game between Medeama and Berekum Chelsea was rained off due to heavy downpour at the Takwa T&A Park.
