GOC appoints Africa Origin ticket reseller

The Ghana Olympic Committee(GOC) has appointed African Origin Travel and Sports Tourism as the authorised Ticket Reseller (ATR) for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games.

As Ghana’s ATR for the Games, African Origin becomes the sole authorised organisation responsible for the sale of event tickets for the Olympic Games.

The Ghana-based Travel and Tour Company will also be responsible for providing hospitality services and packages to Ghanaians who want to be part of the Games.

Chris Essilfie, the Chef de Mission for the Rio 2016 Olympics noted: "The GOC appointed African Origin after an application and screening exercise.”

Ghana is set to make its 14th appearance at the Olympic Games in Rio 2016, from August 5 -21, 2016.
