GPL Preview: Great Olympics to dent Hearts of Oak’s title ambitions

The 2016/ 2017 Ghana Premier League returns in earnest across all eight venues this weekend after two-months recess and with five matches left, second-bottom Accra Great Olympics will be aiming to put a dent on Hearts of oak’s title ambition as they host them in the Match Day 25 at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday afternoon at 3:00pm.

The Dade lads have had a season marred with brawls but will look to put them behind when they take on the Phobians in Accra.

In other mouth-watering fixtures, after losing to West African Football Academy (WAFA ) in an outstanding league clash at Sogakope on Wednesday, 23rd, August, 2017, Asante Kotoko will be hoping to return to winning ways as they host bottom-rooted Bolga All Stras at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi as second-place Aduana Stars pitch strenght with Inter Allies at the Nana Agyeman Badu Partk in Dormaa.

Elsewhere, Ebusua Dwarfs will go head-to-head with Liberty Professionals at the Cape Coast Stadium with Bechem United taking on revived- Ashanti Gold at the Nana Gyeabour Park in Bechem.

Furthermore, Tema Youth will play host to WAFA at the Tema Sports Stadium while Medeama SC travel to the North as guest to the reigning-champions, Wa All Stars at the Malik Jabr Stadium.

Yaw Acheampong’s Elmina Sharks side who are brimming in confidence after picking some positive results will face a testing trip to the Golden City Park to play Berekum Chelsea.
