Sekondi Hasaacas will look to dent Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s title hopes when they host the record champions at the Essipong Sports Stadium on Sunday, August 21 in their match week 25 encounter.
Kotoko dropped points at home to fellow title competitor, Aduana Stars and, coach Michael Osei and his charges know they can’t afford to drop farther off the pace as the league draws to a close with just five games to play.
Hasaacas lost 1-0 on the road to Berekum Chelsea in their match week 25 clash and are aware any result, other than a win, will cast major doubts on their league survival as they are on 28 points and in 14th place.
The Porcupine Warriors were able to record their first victory of the 2nd half of the season after five games, by way of a 1-0 win over the Sekondi side, courtesy Kwame Boateng’s 72nd minute winner.
