The 2026/27 Ghana Premier League season is delivering intense drama early on, with Medeama sitting atop the standings with 11 points after five rounds.

Medeama SC hold a razor-thin lead over FC Samartex 1996.

Both sides share 11 points, but Medeama’s superior +5 goal difference keeps them in first place over Samartex's +4.

Close on their heels are Port City and Aduana, both sitting on 10 points in third and fourth place respectively.
