Dreams FC's Philimon McCarthy and Cosmos Dauda of Hearts of Oak are making the headlines for their stupendous performances for their clubs in the Week XIX clash of the Ghana Premier League.

While Dauda scored the only goal to hand new Hearts coach Sérgio Traguil his first victory, McCarthy pulled ten saves in Dreams' away victory over Liberty to beat his close competitor Fatau Dauda for the goalkeeper of the week.

Accra Hearts of Oak won Ghanasoccernet.com' club of the week with their coach Sérgio Traguil emerging the manager of the week.

The system for the week is 4:4:2

Below is the team of the week:

1.Philimon McCarthy - GK (Dreams): The former Hearts goalie was the MVP of the game between Dreams FC and Liberty Professionals at Dansoman. He pulled ten saves to deny the home side a point in the game. His close competitor Fatau Dauda made magnificent saves but McCarthy won the game away while Fatau won at home.

2.Emmanuel Nti Mensah (AshGold): Mensah's creativity and industriousness helped the defending champions to register a solitary win over ailing Inter Allies. He was sharp in attack and defended excellently. His crosses were on point.

3.Daniel Darkwah (Aduana): Darkwah was exceptional in Aduana's stalemate with bottom club New Edubiase. His surging runs and attacking prowess made it difficult for the visitors to make good use of the fluidity of Patrick Antwi. He was brilliant in the game.

4.Robin Gnagne (Hearts): The Hearts captain was the major reason why goal wizard Eric Bekoe could not get on the score sheet. Was strong in defending and controlled his team mates well even when it was getting tougher.

5.Kingsley Adjei (Hasaacas): The Hasaacas center back was a barrier between the Hearts attack and the Hasaacas goal area. He stopped Cosmos Dauda, Patrick Razak and Samudeen Ibrahim on some dangerous occasions. He was tactical in his approach and was always there in time to pull the breaks on the Hearts attack.

6.Abubakar Sadick (Chelsea): AS a holding midfielder, Sadick handled the Chelsea midfield to perfection. His excellent display won him the MVP.

7.Osei Baffour (AshGold): He scored the only goal of the game for AshGold against Inter Allies. He was a thorn in the flesh of the visitor’s defence and won the MVP of the game.

8.John Nyamekye (Bechem United): Young Nyamekye was the toast of the fans at the Baba Yara yesterday. His dazzling skills and thunderous strikes won him the MVP of the clash between Kotoko and Bechem United. He stole a point for the visitors.

9.Komlan Abegniedan (WAFA): He doubled the score for WAFA after Kennedy Boateng's opener. He won the MVP and tormented the Wa All Stars defence. He has been a great addition to the WAFA side since joining.

10.Cosmos Dauda (Hearts): It took the 'Cosmostic' magic of the Hearts striker to steal all the three points all Sekondi. His back heel goal could only be described as a replica of a CR7 strike. He gave Hearts the three points.

11.Patrick Razak (Hearts): Razak has proven the most influential Hearts attacker in the second round. He was quick in attack for the Phobians and proved a hot ladle for the Hasaacas defence. He was adjudged the MVP after setting up Cosmos Dauda for the winner.
