The date for commencement of the First Capital Plus Premier League is in a dancing state as the founder, president and bank roller of King Faisal Babies FC has placed an injunction on the FA’s Congress scheduled for Friday, September 12.
The Ghana Football Association and the Premier League Board had already fixed September 21 as the date for the kick-off of the league but the latest development from the camp of King Faisal has placed plans in a limbo.
Reports reaching Sports Crusader have it that, Alhaji Grunsah has placed an injunction on tomorrow’s FA Congress which is expected to confirm relegated and promoted clubs before the commencement of the league.
Sports Crusader, however, gather that since Congress is the highest decision body of the FA that will determine which clubs have been promoted and which ones have been relegated, the date will, probably, have to be changed to make room for the FA to handle the injunction by Alhaji Grunsah.
