GPL round-up: Hearts secures vital draw in Dewu, Kotoko silence Techiman City

A hat-trick from Dauda Mohammed and a goal by Edwin Tuffuor Frimpong ensured Kotoko defeated Techiman City 4-2 at the Babayara Sports Stadium. Mohammed Iddrisu and Ebenezer Agyepong got the consolations for Techiman City.

Aduana Stars maintained their impressive home record with a resounding 4-2-w in over Bechem United at the Dormaa Park. Bright Adjei and Yahaya Mohammed got two goals each for the home side with Abednego Tetteh and Aminu Mohammed getting on the score sheet for Bechem United.

Hearts maintained their unbeaten away record after holding Dreams FC to a 1-1 stalemate at the Theater of Dreams in Dewu. Lawson Bekui and Paul Acquah were on target for Dreams FC and Hearts respectively.

Gockel Ahortor grabbed a vital equalizer as Inter-Allies held Sekondi Hasaacas to a 1-1draw at the Essipong Stadium. Ibrahim Suleiman scored for Sekondi Hasaacas.

Goals from Defender Daniel Amoah and Kwesi Donsu secured 3 points for Medeama SC who defeated struggling New Edubiase 2-0 at the Takwa T&A Park.

Ebusua Dwarfs winger Stephen Bentil cancelled out Tamimu Muntari’s first half strike for Liberty Professionals as both teams shared spoils at the Dansoman Carl Reindorf Park.

WA All Stars maintained their position on top of the League table with a narrow 1-0 away win over Berekum Chelsea. Thanks to strike from Richard Arthur.

Ashanti Gold and WAFA also managed a 0-0 stalemate at the Obuasi Lane Clay Stadium on Saturday.
