GTK to stage National Championship

Accra, May 14, GNA - The Ghana Taekwondo Association (GTA) will from 3-5 June organize a National Taekwondo Open Championship at the D.G Hathiramani Sports Hall at the Ohene Djan Stadium in Accra.

The championship dubbed "Chairman's National Open Taekwondo Championship" is expected to attract 300 practitioners of the sport. According to the GTA, registration and weigh of participants for the event will be held on 3rd June, whilst the elimination, semi and final stages of the event will be held on 4th and 5th June.

It forms part of the Association's programme to develop the sport and also provide a platform for the handlers of the national team to observe the potential champion materials at their disposal. 14 June 10
