GTTA monthly ranking tournament on Saturday

Accra, July 5, GNA-The Ghana Table Tennis Association (GTTA) will on Saturday, August 9, hold its seventh monthly ranking for players at the Accra Sports Stadium Sports Hall.
The championship, the last to be held for the year, is to pick the nucleus of the national table tennis team to represent the nation at impending All Africa Games scheduled for Abuja, Nigeria in October. According to officials of the GTTA, the selected players will move to camp after the championship and will be joined by a number of foreign based players such as Eric Amoah from Holland, Eric Hammond (UK) and Isaac Opoku from United States of America.
The GTTA officials stated that they will make the final selection after the players had joined the team for the final training exercise. Ghana is expected to send six players to the All Africa Games drawn from the national table tennis team.
