Kumasi-based King Faisal have been dumped out of the Ghana Premier League after drawing 1-1 with Berekum Chelsea on the final day of the Ghanaian season.
Former Ghana youth international defender Tetteh Nortey raced Faisal into the lead with a 3rd minute finish from a rebound but were unable to increase the tally in the first-half.
Ghana U20 attacker Dennis Tetteh equalised for Chelsea just a minute into the second-half to stun the home fans at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Chelsea keeper Abubakar Iddrisu fisted the corner-kick and Nortey was at the right place to hammer home a fine drive from inside of the box with just under 3 minutes played.
Faisal continued to create decent chances but failed to bury any of the opportunities that came their way.
The Blues looked out of sort as they failed to stretch passes together while King Faisal continued to create and squander their chances.
Faisal must blame themselves for their relegation as they wasted a host of chances especially in the first period of the game.
