Accra, June 3, GNA - Nestor Percy Galley has been elected President of the Badminton Association of Ghana for a four-year tenure of office. He was elected at the first National Delegates Congress of the Association held on Thursday, May 27 in Accra. A statement signed by Ignatius Elletey, Secretary General of the Association copied to GNA Sports said Mike Okine was also elected as the Vice President.

The quartet of Frank Shamo, Kingsford Nii Otoo, Albert Atutigah and Jeff Lotsu K. Dorm were also elected members of the Executive Board whilst Dr. K. A. Asamoah was co-opted into the Board. Seventeen delegates representing various stakeholders across the country attended the Congress which also adopted the new constitution of the Association. 03 June 10
